Does a 99W car charger give my phone 99W?
No. That number is the total across every output on the unit. With six outputs stated, no single one delivers 99W, and this listing does not publish how the total is divided.
Why does my phone charge slower in the car than at home?
Heat, mostly. A phone in a windscreen mount in the sun is warm before it starts charging, and it will throttle its own charging rate to protect the battery. The cable and the protocol matter too.
Are retractable cables worse than normal cables?
